Third time's a charm, right?
Yes, this is my third blog I've started. I've started three for many good reasons, all having to do with significant life changes. The first was just me- in school, working, dating. Then I got married. Which meant a new blog. We tried to keep that one up but didn't do a very good job. NOW... this one should stick for a while. Lots and lots of transitions and lots and lots of motivation to blog. Here is a list:
1. I am an avid blog reader. I read everyone's blog I find interesting or that may somehow remotely relate to my life in one tiny way or another. I use NetNewsWire to help me get through the day of blogs. It's kind of like reading a newspaper, just about other people's life, which I LOVE.
2. We've recently moved. We happened to sell our house in 8 days. We had no where to go. Without going into too much detail, we are fine, we are "renting" my grandmother's house, and we are frantically house hunting. Big transition.
3. Biggest transition and motivation of all: Baby Girl King! Due in mid-August, this little girl has made us get our rear in gear with the house situation, planning, saving, etc. etc. And so many of the blogs I read are about parenting that I thought it was only fair that I join that crowd. I've learned SO MUCH from reading everyone else's stuff!
So, I really hope to stay motivated and inspired to write and post pictures as our journey unfolds!
Oh, by the way, the "Umbrella Days" comes from the song "Umbrellas" by Sleeping at Last. A song Cousin Cameron "gave" us and we listened to the night we found out we were pregnant. I'll try to post the song!
Oh, and if anyone knows how to change the font for the header and make it pretty, can you let me know?
